The Annual Meeting of the PEIAHA was held October 20th
in Alberton PE. with 45 in attendance. 22 PEIAHA Life Members and
6 CAHA Life Members were recognized.
The guest speaker for the meeting was Sandra Ramsay, a Counsellor with
West Prince Mental Health and Addictions. She spoke about some of
the information she offers and methods she uses when working with
people with drug, alcohol and gambling addictions as well as
individuals dealing with mental and physical abuse. This information
could be useful to all of us as we all deal with difficulties in our
life.
After lunch,
we were entertained by ‘Annie’ (aka Wanda Dunbar) from the Centre
Line Road. Appearing to talk to her friend Sarah on the phone, she
proceeded to tell Sarah about the goings on in her community, with
comedy and delight.

A workshop session
was set up to discuss questions on subjects related to how the PEIAHA
should proceed regarding funding and how money is used. A report on
the information gathered from the four groups will be presented at
the Semi-annual Meeting on April
27, 2013.
